This is my 2nd project for the 1st term of my 2nd year on my Illustration course, we were required to explore an area of number with a form of print in each of the four final outcomes we had to produce. I chose to explore barcodes and the concept of Barcodes being everywhere in our daily lives. Particualrly I looked at possibilities of Human Barcoding and it meaning the loss if of our identity, even our humanity in these series of prints.

 

It was a messy process, especially when it came to using lino print on tracing paper. It was going to take time to dry which wasn't good when I needed to bring my prints to the final outcomes you see here. But regardless it was a very enjoyable project and one that I put a lot of hardwork into, overall Im pleased with the result.
